Olea Jacta Est’s Label Features A Fantastic Linocut Design | Dieline


Linocut is a printmaking approach created by chopping a design right into a linoleum floor with a pointy knife, then inked with a curler, after which impressed onto a paper or cloth. Designer Hula Estudio used this linocut approach for the packaging design for Olea Jacta Est’s olive oil. The fluid and natural design fashion was deliberately chosen to signify the character of the olive timber’ atmosphere and the truth that they’re organically grown. The label designs are clever and kooky, and the black and white scheme creates a sublime high quality for the model. Hula Estudio has designed a crafty twist on the standard oil packaging.
